This is a very important difference from our competition because slipping at high friction and speed very quickly leads to over-heating and burn out of the clutch. As an added benefit, the urethane rollers provide super quiet operation with excellent wear characteristics. They have been used extensively in conveying applications and well as gas powered equipment where complete dis-engagement of driven shaft is necessary to allow the engine to continue to idle without driving the application.
